ABC News spoke with Lana Rigsby and community partner Carlos Duarte with Mi Familia Vota about Rigsby Hull’s initiative to turn Houston’s taco trucks into voter registration booths. The project has gone wildly viral, with coverage in Houston Chronicle, New York Times, CBS News, Washington Post,  Texas Monthly and many more, and international press from Times of India, French newsjournal Kobini, Australian Broadcasting Corp,  Voice of America and others. [ Update: Harris Co. Tax Assessor Collector reported a record-breaking 324,000 new voters ultimately registered, with Hispanic surnames leading the increase by a wide margin. ]
