In collaboration with Michael Ray Charles, Rigsby Hull created this catalog of the artist's work for Blaffer Gallery/Houston and Shafrazi Gallery/NY. Provocative, highly charged paintings exploring racist stereotypes and pop-cultural black symbology are examined in commentary by film director Spike Lee and historian Marilyn Kern-Foxworth. This exhibition catalogue was named one of the year's fifty best-designed books by American Institute of Graphic Arts.
