Roads of Arabia: Archaeology and History of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Part of an accord between Paris’ Musée du Louvre and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, this exhibition displays never-before-seen artifacts from the insular and enigmatic desert kingdom. Organized by Smithsonian’s Sackler Gallery and Saudi Supreme Commission for Tourism & Antiquities, Roads of Arabia’s North American tour offered US visitors unprecedented insights into the history of what is now the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: an ancient cultural, intellectual and artistic crossroads. Rigsby Hull created this limited edition volume for underwriter Saudi Aramco as a gift for HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in gratitude for his contributions in bringing Roads of Arabia to the world.
